As always, I’m targeting a specific species and to kick off the New Year, it’s my favourite, the perch. Mostly on the Staffs/Worcs Canal, there’s fish action and tips including cold water perch bait and how to avoid deep-hooked fish.
I employ several methods, hence the title of the blog, including the popular drop-shotting, with several minutes of bank-side activity featuring. In addition there’s the usual nature footage plus a thought for the week.
