Episode 3: Black Country canal / Chub / Bream / Focus on tackle, bait and rig

In episode three I’m fishing a Black Country canal, with chub as the target. I catch a few along the way and also bream as well. There’s also a look at tackle, bait and rig. I'm using a hair-rig and boilie approach to eliminate smaller fish.

As always, lots of nature represented and this time round fungi features. There's a great natural world out there and angling is the perfect platform from which to engage with it.

The trip down memory lane takes me back to my match fishing days with Hurst Hill Labour Club, where in 1977 I was Junior Angler of The Year.
